Your Range Qualification at Guntry - Owings Mills

Please complete the required onboarding and liability forms before arriving. You cannot use the range unless Guntry’s onboarding is complete.

Complete These Steps Before You Arrive

Required
  1. Guntry onboarding (required): Watch the firearms safety video and sign Guntry’s liability release forms. You cannot use the range unless this is completed. The video takes about 8 minutes, 30 seconds.
  2. Practical Pew Pew waiver (required): Complete the participant information and liability release form for Christopher Wertz, dba The Practical Pew Pew.
Reminder: If either of these steps are incomplete, you may be delayed or unable to proceed with your qualification.

When you arrive at Guntry, please text me.

If you stop at the desk, make sure you reference me as your instructor. The facility will expect you to know that I’m your instructor.

Fees & Rentals

Guntry pricing notes

Range fee

Range fees are $25 per person. Since the reservation is under me as an instructor, I’m required to pay Guntry directly.

Eye / ear protection

If you need to rent eye or ear protection, the cost is $8.00. I will bring extra sets so you shouldn’t need to rent.

Firearm rentals

You may rent any firearm you’d like from Guntry—check with them for pricing. If you rent a firearm from Guntry, you must purchase ammunition from them to use in that rental. No outside ammunition may be used in their rental firearms.
